Trish Widener was the Founder of Purple Paws 2nd Chance Rescue. She fought every day to give unfortunate dogs of all sizes, breeds, and medical conditions; a second chance at life. The same way she fought for a second chance at life through a double lung transplant for her cystic fibrosis. Trish lost her fight on May 22, 2017. Speak to anyone who has ever encountered Trish and they will all say she loved the Lord, her family, and saving animals. Her husband Jim and the rest of the Purple Paws 2nd Chance Rescue family are continuing what Trish started with a vision of finding forever homes for animals.
